Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, nobody is perfect and God knew we wouldn’t be perfect that’s why He died so we would have a right to the tree of life. I am an imperfect person, but God still uses me. & He still loves me. The only person that is perfect is God. He knows all my faults, all my flaws, but he still uses me. & you can’t judge me and I can’t judge you, because you didn’t die for me. God died for me. When God becomes into your life He begins to sanctify you and make you more like him. He begins to change you and make you new and the things you used to want to do, you no longer want to do them anymore. The places you used to want to go, you don’t want to go anymore, because of your relationship with God matters to you the most. You realize that certain things cause me my peace, certain things separate me from God, and if it separates me from my Master then its not worth it. Its not worth continuing to let him down over someone or something.
In the Bible, I read about a woman who everybody tried to count out because she had sinned, but they had forgot that they had sinned too. In John 8:1-11. It reads,
“At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, Teacher, this woman was caught in an act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now, what do you say? They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them. “Let anyone of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this time, those who heard began to go away one at a time. The older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her,”Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? No one, sir. ” she said. Then neither do I condemn you, Jesus declared. Go now and leave your life of sin.”
In this life, the more we sin the more distant we become to God. Sin separates us from God. That’s why the enemy tries to distract us by temptation that will lead us into sin. Because when we sin we are no longer a threat to him. & when this happens we’re leading ourselves into destruction, unknowingly & sometimes knowingly. God says do not be ignorant to Satan’s devices. Just Repent and turn***** from your wicked ways. Turning is the key, changing your behavior. It doesn’t matter about your past He just wants you to run to him now. God is waiting to forgive you. He knows all about it.
If God doesn’t condemn you then nobody can condemn you. I’m not condoning anyone to sin, but if you just happen to sin or if you just happen to make a mistake. God just wants you to go and sin no more. He wants us to turn from our wicked ways and not repeat it again. That’s how much He loves us. He loves us so much that He will forgive our sins and remember them no more, but we have to believe this by faith. He says in Psalm 103:12 that “he has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.” That’s good news! His mercy is new each and every morning. There is nothing you can do that, that can make God stop loving you. Forgive yourself!
Another scripture that came to mind while writing this, it says “why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in you your own eye? How can you say to your brother, Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye, when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye.” We have to examine ourselves, because we become so judgmental of others. Its somethings in our lives that God has forgiven us for that we don’t want nobody to know about. Can I be honest? Its just that this woman’s sin was known to everybody, but what if your sin was known to everybody. You would want God to show you His grace and His mercy towards you. Its only by the grace of God that it wasn’t, so we just have to show that same mercy and grace towards one another. Because it could be you, who was exposed as well. What I have realized is that people who are stuck in sin are already beaten down, distraught, and most of the time are at their wits end. Instead of pointing a finger be the one to pray for that person, speak some knowledge or words or wisdom into that person. Because you never know you may need it, somebody in your family may need it. But that seed that you planted to help someone else will come back around and bless you and your family.
When I was writing this, I knew I was going to have a call to salvation & just ask God for his forgiveness. Because we all can be forgiven.
So if you feel like this message was for you & you have maybe been living in sin, knowingly & maybe even unknowingly. But you want to ask God for His forgiveness I am going to ask that you pray this special prayer.
Dear Lord, thank you for another chance to be able to come to you and get it right. Thank you for never counting me out even when i’ve counted myself out. Thank you for saving a wretch like me. I am lost and I want to be found. I made mistakes, i’ve hurt people, and people have hurt me. But Lord teach me how to forgive. I may not act like it, but deep in my heart. I want to be more like you. So show me the way. Lord, Jesus, I repent of my sins. I ask that you take away this pain that I feel remove this judgmental spirit away from me. I declare with my mouth that Jesus, you are Lord, and I believe that in my heart that God raised him from the dead. For it is with my heart that I believe and am justified, and it is with my mouth that I profess my faith and am saved. Lord, I thank you cleanse me and make me new. Enlarge my territory. I want to be more like you its all in your hands in Jesus name. I pray Amen.
